Episode Summary

### **What’s In This Episode:** * **The Screech Over Milwaukee:** A quiet Monday evening on the South Side of Milwaukee is suddenly shattered by an intense, intermittent screeching sound echoing for hours. As the noise bounces unpredictably off brick walls, concrete, and rooftops, confused residents take to the streets searching for an answer while emergency management rules out official sirens. * **The Falling Stones of Abajipeta:** In a village in Andhra Pradesh, India, nighttime brings a terrifying siege from above. Stones rain down without warning onto rooftops, damaging homes and leaving residents in fear. Despite police patrols, night watches searching for catapults, and theories of poltergeist activity, the origin of the flying rocks remains cloaked in darkness. * **The Mountain Orbs of Wyoming:** Out in Big Sky Country, mysterious white orbs rise above the dark silhouette of Cedar Mountain and hover near the Bighorn Mountains. Dancing along the ridge, executing sharp trajectory changes, and even drifting directly through the trees, these silent spheres defy conventional aviation explanations. * **Personal Encounters & Announcements:** Paul and Michelle share their own personal experiences with silent flying craft and dancing night lights. EP-69: The Scream, The Stones, and the Mountain Lights

Paul: [00:00:00] And we're gonna go in five, four, three, two, one. Hello, Michelle.

Michelle: Hi, Paul.

Paul: And hello everybody out there. Thank you for joining us.

Michelle: Hi, Paul.

Paul: Welcome everybody in North America and around the world. Dragon is here with us, and Dragon says hello.

Michelle: Mm.

Paul: Even though he's completely oblivious to everything around

Michelle: him.

Oh, he's not oblivious.

Paul: I don't know about that.

Michelle: Mm, he thinks he's a rock star.

Paul: Yeah. So welcome to the Spooky Coop, where the show, we're the show where strange stories come home to roost.

Michelle: That's right.

Paul: Yes.

Michelle: What came first, Spooky Coop or the egg?

Paul: Oh, I don't know. Have we ever really pondered that very deeply?

I don't think so. Are, are we that thoughtful? Yes.

Michelle: Anyway, tonight we have, what? We have three stories from three very different places. One of them is very similar to another story we told you, but it [00:01:00] takes place in a different place- Mm-hmm ... in a different time. And I think you're gonna find these are very interesting.

One is a neighborhood with a strange sound effect. Another one has to do with stones that come out of nowhere. You'll find that one interesting. Mm-hmm. And another one happens, um, in Wyoming, where there are lots of lights that are very similar to what Paul and a friend of his saw. Mm-hmm. So you might find that interesting.

Paul: Right. So we're gonna go from Milwaukee to a village in India, back over to Wyoming in this, this episode. Three mysteries and three nights, and every one of them begins with that particular feeling. Yep. You're at home. You think you know what the world sounds like, and then-

Michelle: The world makes noises. The world does weird things.

The world kind of shakes, shakes you up. Oh, Dragon, it's okay. Don't be afraid [00:02:00] He's like, "Mom."

Paul: I'm more afraid than he is that he's gonna take a leap, a flyer over here. So picture a Monday night in Milwaukee.

Michelle: He doesn't have wings.

Paul: The south side of Milwaukee, to be m- more, uh, accurate. It's a

Michelle: Monday.

Paul: Houses are close together, porch lights are glowing, and traffic is thinning out.

People are settling in for the evening, and then somewhere in the neighborhood a sound begins.

Michelle: Yeah, it's a weird sound too. It's not a normal sound. It's not a train horn. It's not a passing ambulance. It's not construction, though, you know, it's Milwaukee. It- they have two seasons, construction and winter.

And, um-

Paul: Like Toronto.

Michelle: Yeah, like Toronto. Yes. And it's not a familiar sound. It's not this wailing of a to- You know what I found really interesting when Paul was doing this research, is that they say- Mm. ... every one Wednesday afternoon a month, they actually have a tornado, uh, sound practice, [00:03:00] which is really- A siren test

siren test. Yes. 'Cause that's really weird 'cause they don't get many tornadoes up there. Mm. But it wasn't that thing going off by accident. Anyway, some people described it as like this intermittent screeching sound, um, like a sharp, uh, harsh, um, sound that came over, uh, roughly off and on for, like, two hours.

Paul: And I think that word intermittent is what, what gets me. If you hear one strange noise, your brain can file it away, like a truck or a gate closing or somebody's brakes. But when it returns and returns and returns It can start, it can start to wear on you a little bit. Yeah, mess with your brain. You start wondering, mess with your brain, right.

Michelle: Yeah. 'Cause, uh, it like you hear it, and then like maybe the first night you hear it and it's like, "Oh, that's weird." Then you hear it again and you're like, "I wonder where that's coming from." Then you hear it again, like with- Mm ... times in between, but then your ears will start listening for, after a while you start going, "When is this thing [00:04:00] coming back?"

Paul: Right. Exactly. It's, it's one thing to hear a sound, and it's another to be waiting for it.

Michelle: Yeah. And people report hearing it across all parts of the south side of Milwaukee. And naturally, people start asking, "What is that?" And especially when they start hearing it over and over for days at a time, you know, it's kind of like this, people start saying- Mm

"Is this an emergency warning? Should we be getting like in our basements or something?" Mm-hmm. And it's just really, really weird. It's not a factory nearby, but they start wondering, is this factory having some kind of warning? New piece of equipment. Yeah. Is it a ... Yeah. Is there something going on? You know?

Paul: Fred's trying to calibrate the new-

Michelle: Yeah ... new piece of equipment. Is this a weird animal that's like having some kind of problem?

Paul: Right.

Michelle: But then it stops.

Paul: Right. So local emergency management reportedly, reportedly ruled out its own siren system, which doesn't tell us what it was, but it removes the most comforting answer.

Michelle: Yeah, comforting and then not [00:05:00] comforting- Yeah ... if they think this weird alarm's going off, you know? And, um, they tried to give it an ordinary explanation, you know, but it got stranger because the ordinary, ordinary explanations didn't fit. You know, it's not some kind of wolf howling at the wind or a fox, which really sounds wild if you, you know, some people- Mm-hmm

say, "Oh my God, there was a baby crying, and I look for it. There's no baby in the woods," but it was a female fox in heat. They sound like babies crying. Mm-hmm. Um, and, uh, then-

Paul: Just occurred to me, what if it was a screaming goat?

Michelle: They even, the sound seemed to bounce off of everything. Mm-hmm. People go outside 'cause they think it's coming from their rooftop- Mm-hmm ... or they think it's coming, you know, every different place they think it's coming from. Right. But then they get outside like, "Why is that noise coming from my roof?" And it all of a sudden it seems to be coming from all different places.

Everywhere at

Paul: once, [00:06:00] yeah.

Michelle: Yeah, everywhere at once.

Paul: Especially in a city, uh, sound hits brick, concrete, windows, power lines, the undersides of porches. It bends around corners. It bounces off buildings. It can arrive at your window without giving you the slightest clue where it began.

Michelle: Yeah. It's like, where the heck did that come from, right?

And it doesn't m- it makes it, like, really eerie because one minute you think it comes from here, the next minute it comes from there, or you hear it, you run outside to figure out where it came from- Mm-hmm ... but it's stopped. And then all of a sudden, like, you're like, "Oh, good, it stopped," but then five minutes later it starts again, or you're waiting for it five minutes later, but it doesn't start.

You know, it's like in- Yeah ... very strangely intermittent.

Paul: Yeah, and-

Michelle: You know? And-

Paul: Then there it is again.

Michelle: Yeah. Yeah. There it is again. Yes. And, you know, it's just really strange. Yeah. There's no flashing light to go with it. There's no smoke, no explosion, nothing obvious. Mm. You know? And no matter how hard you look, right, left, up, [00:07:00] down, you can't figure it out.

Paul: Right. And of course, there's always, there's always w- one yahoo in the group, uh, and my apologies to this- 'Cause

Michelle: we're yahoos ...

Paul: to this yahoo. You're su-

Michelle: One yahoo

Paul: to another ... you're in good company. One-

Michelle: See my shirt? It says, "Caution: I have no filters."

Paul: Yes. One wit-

Michelle: Yes, yes, Dragon.

Paul: One witness- Yes, it's

Michelle: okay.

Paul: One witness said they wished they had recorded the sound and sampled it into music, which is a very 2026 ending to a strange neighborhood mystery.

It is, "I heard something terrifying across the city and somebody turned it into a beat."

Michelle: You know what the problem is, is that it was so intermittent, people didn't really get a good recording of it. Mm-hmm. So that's why we can't play you a recording of it.

Paul: Yeah.

Michelle: Because people would turn on their tape recorders or their whatever, and it wouldn't be there.

So they'd- Mm ... shut it off and walk in the house or whatever, and then all of a sudden it'd happen again, but it wouldn't happen long enough for them to get out there and record it. Mm-hmm. I don't know why nobody kept their recording on long [00:08:00] enough, but- ... you know, people give up. "Oh, it's done," you know? Mm. So we didn't get any, uh, answers.

Nothing. Nothing s- you know,

Paul: clear answer. It was just one of those things, one of those strange noises, sort of like the booms out here- Yeah ... that we sometimes hear that come out of nowhere, these, these incredible- Yeah, like

Michelle: sonic booms. They can even shake your

Paul: house. Yeah, these huge earth booms that we get.

Michelle: Yeah. Sometimes they even make the paper. Yeah. They'd be like, "What, what? Did anybody- Yeah ... hear that?" And it wasn't a sonic boom. Nothing ha- nothing happened. It was like... And it was amaz- you know, those things are absolutely amazing- Mm ... 'cause they'll shake the house, but they won't show up on, um, on, you

Paul: know- Yeah, just a couple of years ago, uh, to, uh, southwest of us here, there was booms happening all through the evening every 30 seconds, every minute.

These incredible- Yeah ... booms, they had no idea. The whole region, no idea where they came from. Yeah, the- They thought it, they thought it was, uh, one of the military bases firing off, but they don't h- do live fire at night at the bases.

Michelle: Yeah, yeah. And the, they weren't showing [00:09:00] up on geographical... What do you call those, um-

Paul: Seismo- sei-

Michelle: seismological- ... seismic meters, yeah ... things, but the houses were shaking.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: It was really wild. Um, but-

Paul: So like, like your, you know, homes, you, you feel like they have a soundtrack. The refri- the refrigerator hums, the heat's kicking on, traffic in the distance, but this noise, it just cut through all of that, and it was a screeching h- I guess, a rather irritatingly screeching noise- Yeah.

that got everybody's a- attention, and then it just was gone.

Michelle: Yeah. It's like, um, wh- what was this soundtrack from? You know, what was it from?

Paul: I

Michelle: don't know. Nobody, nobody... And then it stopped.

Paul: I, I'm, I'm gonna go

Michelle: with- It just, it just stopped as soon as it started. It

Paul: was just um- I'm gonna go with somewhere between Fred calibrating a piece of equipment at the local factory to him having a pet screaming goat.

Yeah,

Michelle: okay. You go with the screaming goat.

Paul: Okay, so on to our second story.

Michelle: I'll go with Sharknado. Okay. [00:10:00] Okay, our second story takes place in a neighborhood of Wisconsin, in a village, you named that.

Paul: It's not in Wisconsin.

Michelle: Oh.

Paul: It's in India.

Michelle: Then why does it say in the neighborhood of Wisconsin?

Paul: I don't know.

The screaming goat got in and wrote in Wisconsin. No, it's not. It's, this took place- I love it

Michelle: when you write a story.

Paul: My bad.

Michelle: It says, look at this. It says, "Neighborhood, neighborhood in Wisconsin."

Paul: Don't read the rest. It's in India. It's a, it's a, a village-

Michelle: Well, Wisconsin, India.

Paul: Yes, it was a neighborhood in, um, in the village of Apaji- uh, I said I'd say this correctly, but I'm not gonna.

Apajipi- Ab- Apa Japeta.

Michelle: Wisconsin.

Paul: In- ... Andhra Pradesh, India.

Michelle: India.

Paul: A long way-

Michelle: Outside of Wisconsin ...

Paul: from Wisconsin.

Michelle: The mystery wasn't something people heard, it [00:11:00] was some- well, they must have heard it, though. It was- It was something that- That hit ... hit- Yeah ... out of the blue.

Paul: According to reports, residents said stones began striking their homes after dark.

Roofs were damaged, a few people suffered minor injuries, and over the course of a, about a week, fear moved through the village.

Michelle: Doesn't that sound familiar?

Paul: Yeah, we just talked, we, uh, we had a very recent podcast about this where we, we, we talked wa- it was in England?

Michelle: Yeah. Yeah. It was England.

Paul: In England- Yeah

where they, uh, they had this poltergeist or whatever it was. We- Throwing rocks ... we don't know, throwing rocks. And they could never find the person, the perpetrator- Right ... of the rock

Michelle: throwing. They, they figured it was a, kids with this massive, um-

Paul: Mm-hmm. Catapult ...

Michelle: catapult.

Paul: Yeah.

Michelle: Right. They- That they never found

Paul: because very similarly, you know, rocks seemed to just appear out of the sky-

Michelle: Mm-hmm ...

Paul: and fall down so.

Michelle: They said the timing was eerie.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: And, um, that around 10 o'clock at night, uh, and, uh, for several minutes, uh, as opposed to the other one that was a, it was day, night, [00:12:00] anytime. Mm-hmm. Um, that, uh, for a while that they'd hear impacts of rocks.

And this was interesting, just like the other one, the, uh, the, um, they would rush outside-

Paul: Mm-hmm ...

Michelle: in the darkness and, um-

Paul: Wait for another stone.

Michelle: Yeah, they'd wait for another stone. Um, and, uh-

Paul: Hmm ...

Michelle: they had this, like, primal fear 'cause where were these stones coming from? You know, they'd wait outside and they, or they'd go back inside.

They'd lock their doors, and they'd shut their windows- Mm-hmm ... and turn on their lights hoping that that would deter them You know? Yeah. It's like, "It's light in here.

Paul: It's- Yep. Stones don't need permission. They c- they'd come over the wall, across the yard, down from somewhere above. And the unnerving thing in this story is that nobody public- publicly identified where they were coming from.

Michelle: Catapult.

Paul: Catapult.

Michelle: Yeah. And the police reportedly sent out patrols to the area. Local young people, [00:13:00] uh, joined in the watch- Right. There- ... looking nearby hills for a catapult.

Paul: Yeah. Right. There was quite a few young people that joined the police-

Michelle: Yeah.

Paul: And- ... as they sat out there to watch to try and, and stop this-

Michelle: Yeah.

But- ...

Paul: whatever

Michelle: was happening ... the rocks still came from nowhere. Mm-hmm. They couldn't figure out where they were from. They couldn't find the catapult.

Paul: Yep.

Michelle: Yeah.

Paul: And that's the moment that, that the local disturbance turns into a legend now. Yeah. So if someone is throwing rocks, it's frightening and infuriating, but if people are searching, watching, and standing guard, and the stones continue anyway, then the question changes.

Michelle: Yeah. It becomes, who's throwing them, you know?

Paul: Mm-hmm. Yep. And just as important, why these homes? Why this village? Why after dark?

Michelle: Right. And some of the houses, it was, like, targeting just at some of them like that, like the other one.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: Just some of them.

Paul: Right. Yep.

Michelle: You know? And stories of the stones appearing out of nowhere, you know, from along, either from nowhere or from, like, far away.

Paul: Right.

Michelle: You know? And they look far away. There was nobody.

Paul: Right.

Michelle: You know? And, [00:14:00] um, like folklore, the paranormal history of poltergeist, this was the theory of poltergeist. Um, just like they said before, it must've been poltergeist turned onto these people.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: You know?

Paul: Yeah. The word poltergeist, correct me if I'm wrong here- Yep

comes from German, rough, which means r- uh, roughly noisy ghost.

Michelle: Well, that's close enough.

Paul: Close enough.

Michelle: Mm-hmm.

Paul: Horseshoes, hand grenades. Yeah.

Michelle: Whatever.

Paul: But a stone-throwing spirit feels somehow more aggressive than a noisy one.

Michelle: Yeah. Well, stone th- throwing ghosts too. Poltergeists can be very, um, nasty, but they're usually connected to one person- Mm-hmm

or, you know, usually connected to, um, uh, often connected to a teenager or a young kid turning into a teenager.

Paul: Right.

Michelle: You know?

Paul: Yeah. Yeah, something like, w- when you have stones flying in over top of you, it creates a, a, an awful psychological trap. The village can't relax. Everybody's waiting for the [00:15:00] next stone.

Michelle: Yeah, well-

Paul: You know? ...

Michelle: you know, that's why-

Paul: Yeah ...

Michelle: everybody gets stoned.

Paul: Sitting there with your family, someone asks whether you heard something, you stop talking, you listen, you try to tell yourself it's over, and then- It happens

Michelle: again. Like the first story.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: As soon as you say, "Ugh, it's over. Thank goodness," bang, it happens again.

Yeah. This, like-

Paul: The anticipation of unknown weirdness. Is that a good acronym? Mm-hmm.

Michelle: Yeah No, no, no, no, no. You don't climb on the microphone

Paul: I'm waiting for him to climb on your face.

Michelle: He's not gonna climb on my face. He just wants to go have a walkabout, you know?

Paul: Yeah.

Michelle: Um, also the human details stay... You know, they just stay there.

People, again, waiting for the next shoe to drop, rock to drop. You know, it's something that, um, takes away your sense of safety.

Paul: Right.

Michelle: And j- then just like the other one, it just suddenly stopped on its

Paul: own.

Michelle: Mm-hmm. No one ever figured out what happened. It [00:16:00] stopped on its own. It could have been connected to somebody living in the houses.

Right. It could

Paul: have been- Yeah, you start feeling chosen after a while ...

Michelle: Chosen?

Paul: Yeah. Targeted. Chosen.

Michelle: Targeted is probably better than chosen.

Paul: Aren't we special? Someone's throwing stones at us.

Michelle: Yeah.

Paul: Who hates us?

Michelle: Yeah.

Paul: Yeah.

Michelle: You gotta w- wonder-

Paul: It is a scary word, chosen.

Michelle: Yeah. It is. You wanna make sure that the night stays outside- Mm-hmm

doesn't break through your roof.

Paul: Yeah. And there may be an answer hiding in plain sight. Um, there may be someone who knows exactly what happened, but while the villagers waited for that answer, they were living inside a much older story, a community under siege by an unseen hand.

Michelle: Yeah. Well, you know, it's unlikely that the roofs and the sound are directly related.

Mm. After all, they're in different countries and everything. But, um, the type of thing is kind of related. Mm-hmm. That thing like we're gonna make people wonder when the next sh- like I said, when the [00:17:00] next shoe drops. Mm. It's also this idea that a boundary of safety is broken.

Paul: Yes.

Michelle: You know?

Paul: A viol- a sense of violation.

Michelle: Yeah.

Paul: Yeah.

Michelle: But, um-

Paul: You know, especially when your property starts to become damaged, you've got dented roofs-

Michelle: Well, one of them- ... broken

Paul: tiles ...

Michelle: one of them is kind of psychologically mild. Mm. You know, what is this sound? What's going on? Could it be danger? Could it be a warning? Mm-hmm. You know, is there radioactivity going off?

Is there, um, you know, something like that? Is a, a nearby, um, uh, factory telling us- Mm ... something's going on? Is there, you know? Mm. And the other one is, um, you know, something like- Mm ... uh, you know, what's throwing rocks at us? You know, who's throwing handles?

Paul: Right.

Michelle: You know?

Paul: Yeah, who's throwing handles?

Michelle: Yeah, something like that.

And that's scary- Yeah ... in a, in a more primitive way. Yeah. You know?

Paul: Yeah. So our, uh, third and, and last story here is about the lights over Cedar Mountain-

Michelle: Yeah, [00:18:00] yeah ... in, in Wyo- Why don't

Paul: you start

Michelle: that one?

Paul: In Wyoming

Michelle: Because, because that's very similar to- Right ... something you had.

Paul: Yeah, so for, um-

Michelle: Besides,

Paul: it starts- We're gonna leave roof-

with a

Michelle: crazy

Paul: word ... rooftops City streets behind and we're, and we're, we're going west of Wyoming here to around Cedar Mountain. Uh, and this one starts on a porch. A man named, uh- See? ... Jezriyah, I hope- Let

Michelle: him take the, what do you

Paul: guys see? Jezriyah, I hope I have pronounced your name right. Jezriyah Krubek.

Um, he said that night after night, uh, last winter, he watched lights rise over the mountain west of town. Not one light, not two, but nearly two dozen lights. And he described- That's a lot of lights ... he, yeah, it's a lot of lights. He described them like white orbs floating up over the mountain, moving toward one another, uh, following the ridge line from left to right, and then after months of appearing between November and, uh, and February?

Yeah, that's what it says. Yeah, and November, several months, they, they just stopped. [00:19:00] So you've seen the impossible, or at least something deeply strange, uh, so many times that it becomes part of winter. Then spring arrives and the lights disappear.

Michelle: Yeah, and you begin to wonder, where did they go? Where, what was going on?

It was like a deep strangeness.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: You know, Paul saw something like that, and I did too, but not quite like this. When I was a kid, um, we went camping up this place that was called, uh, what was it called? I don't- Up

Paul: in Maine?

Michelle: Yeah, up in Maine Yeah. Um, and, uh, we saw a whole bunch ... We used to stay up at night just to watch the lights

Paul: You were just east of the Allagash Wilderness, I think, where you were camping.

Michelle: Weren't you? Close to it.

Paul: Yeah, close

Michelle: to it, yeah. And, um, we used to see, we used to sit up and watch the lights as they- Mm-hmm ... went like, zshew, and stop, and they'd go 90 degrees, and then go foom, foom. And, and we all s- the whole campground would sit up and watch- Yeah ... all these lights, and they seemed- Yeah, I remember-

like they were playing with

Paul: each other ... your mother telling me you were, everybody was out looking up at the

Michelle: sky watching this Miles High, I think it was called. Yeah. And the whole- [00:20:00] Mm-hmm ... place would sit up and just watch them. It's like they were dancing, but they would go- Mm-hmm ... voom, stop, voom, voom, voom.

And it was amazing. These were not airplanes- Right ... or anything. It was so cool.

Paul: Yeah. So by, in late September after that, Krubek said that they returned

Michelle: Was it late September? I thought it was April or

Paul: something. No, no, they stopped.

Michelle: Yeah.

Paul: Spring arrived, they stopped. Then by September, after the summer, fall's coming on, and then they returned.

Michelle: Oh, cool.

Paul: Right?

Michelle: It was like they went somewhere for the- Right.

Paul: And Cedar Mountain is the perfect setting for a story like this. They

Michelle: migrated.

Paul: It's Big Sky Country with long distances and a dark ridge line where anything beyond it is hidden.

Michelle: Yeah.

Paul: In daytime, it's a landscape, and at night, it's just a silhouette.

Michelle: Right, and then he tried to approach them. I don't know- Mm-hmm ... how, you know, where, how... I guess he got closer.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: But I don't know if you could approach- It's a long way ... literally the sky. I

Paul: think-

Michelle: He, he grew wings. No, honestly, I don't want to tease ...

Paul: I think what they, [00:21:00] I think what they're talking about is approaching the, uh, analysis of the sightings

Michelle: at that time.

Yeah, like going towards the mountains or something. Mm-hmm. I don't know. Yeah. Um, and, uh- Because he was- ... 'cause he wanted to see if they were- Yeah ... planes or if they were- Right ... something different.

Paul: Well, but he, he was checking satellite trackers. Yeah. Okay, and wa- you know, watched for familiar blinking of lights of aircraft.

Michelle: Aircraft, see if they were aircraft or something.

Paul: That's it, yeah. And he said the orbs changed direction, stopped, and moved in ways he didn't think fit a natural event.

Michelle: Yeah, like what we saw.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: And also, he just wanted to make sure that when he saw them moving. And they didn't move like with the stars.

Like some people say- Mm-hmm ... "Well, maybe it was Jupiter or something," but they didn't move- No ... like, in the way the planets would move.

Paul: Right. Yeah, he said when the lights appeared and began moving, uh, regular air traffic overhead seemed to increase. Uh, more planes crossing the mountain than usual, four or five air, with four or five air- aircraft in the area.

Michelle: Yeah, almost like they had sent aircraft out to-

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: Yeah. [00:22:00] But the planes stayed straight. They didn't do the 90 degrees. Right. They didn't do the weird stuff. Um, you know, maybe, you know, the strange tendency of the brain to find patterns in the sky, he checked out. Mm-hmm. But that didn't work either.

Like he's, like Paul was saying, he looked at all the flight plans and everything.

Paul: Right.

Michelle: You

Paul: know? And, um- When there's a cluster of silent white lights rising over a dark mountain, and then there's planes arriving, are they watching the lights like you suggest, or- Yeah ... or, you know, were these lights taking advantage of, uh, m- blending in?

Michelle: Yeah. Is, is- But in fact, they didn't really- ...

Paul: it's a question that I ask ...

Michelle: blend in, you know?

Paul: Yeah, they didn't. They stood out. Like, uh, we have, there is actually, we'll, we'll provide a link in the description, um, to, uh, the video that he, he, that is, it's available on YouTube. It's a short, and it's, uh, it's very interesting.

There's also, you know, I'll, I'll try and include a photograph somewhere in here, [00:23:00] um, so that you can have a look. By the time

Michelle: you see this, there should

Paul: be- There should be a photograph,

Michelle: yes. Yeah, Paul's gonna cut in the photographs. Yeah. And maybe some movies

Paul: or two. Yeah. Now, there was another report nearby, um, from the Bighorn Mountains, and a man named Casey Edwards said he saw a light ahead of him near Medicine Wheel.

It moved, and then it stopped dead.

Michelle: Yeah, and he began to film, then he noticed four more lights, maybe five or six. He said he- Mm-hmm ... at first it was four, but then there were more.

Paul: More, yeah.

Michelle: Uh, yeah, in the air. He said they stayed there for nearly three hours, and they didn't move like- Yeah ... the planets would've moved in that time.

Paul: Yeah. They weren't streaking across the sky, and they weren't flashing like a meteo- past like a meteor. A meteor is very fast, right? In less than a second it crosses the sky. Oh,

Michelle: yeah. We saw this really

Paul: cool-

Michelle: Yeah ... meteor shower once. They look big, and they came, it felt like they were coming right at us.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: It was so cool.

Paul: And they trailed off gold dust. That was beautiful. Yeah. Absolutely beautiful. [00:24:00] So anyway, these, these were not streaking or flashing across the sky. They were moving s- and they- They s- ... they were not moving along slowly with the stars, but they were hovering, shifting, and then dancing back and forth.

Michelle: Yeah, they started to do that, yeah.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: Then, um, then he had seen the strangest things on the mountain before, he said. He even described trail camera footage showing two balls of light descending through the trees. Like, they were not just- Through the tree

Paul: line,

Michelle: yeah ... yeah, not just trees in front- Yeah

of him, so not ju- but he could see sort of trees behind- Mm-hmm ... the light.

Paul: Right. And that's a compelling ob-

Michelle: Yeah, when you- ...

Paul: observation ...

Michelle: like, like when we- Yeah ... took pictures of orbs, people would say orbs are always dust in front of a camera, and many of them are, but we pictured, we got pictures of orbs, not just in front of things, but things in front of the orbs.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: So-

Paul: Right ...

Michelle: that was something else.

Paul: Yeah. Yeah.

Michelle: And so when he had these pictures-

Paul: Yeah ...

Michelle: with things not just behind them, the trees in front of [00:25:00] them- Right ...

Paul: but

Michelle: pictures- Yeah ... of trees behind them.

Paul: A light in the sky is one thing, but a light among trees is another.

Michelle: Yeah, especially when you have stuff in front of them.

Paul: Yeah. Yeah, when you can put distance between yourselves, between, between ourselves and the sky, um, you know, the sky being far away, of course, then the stars are accessible.

Michelle: Well, there's always distance between us and the

Paul: sky.

Michelle: Yeah. No, the sky's right there behind me Look, I have the sky right here.

Technically, I do.

Paul: I think we've made our point about in the trees- ...

Michelle: is

Paul: a completely different matter, and watching something travel through the trees, I think is, is something that would really catch your attention. It sounds like Rendlesham, doesn't it? The, the way, what he's talking about with the- Yeah ... the lights in the trees.

Michelle: Well, it makes you feel like they're a lot closer- Mm-hmm ... than, like, um, you know, 'cause technically, you know, the moon goes, the moon's in the sky and sometimes you feel like it's right there behind the s- trees. But anyway, the, the- Mm-hmm ... [00:26:00] um, the MUFON, uh, in Wyoming, the director who reviewed all the footage reported that he felt that they were hard to explain.

Mm-hmm. And he decided that several gr- glowing white objects moving in the different directions, and he said that there was no explanation for them.

Paul: Right.

Michelle: It couldn't have been anything man-made. It couldn't be anything, you know, celestial. Um, so having no explanation left us with this eerie story- Mm

that began standing out, looking up, making us question. Of course, Paul and I don't question very often.

Paul: Of course we do. You, you're the worst skeptic.

Michelle: Oh, I am the worst skeptic. Well, he only questions- You drive me crazy ... why the heck do you want lizards?

Paul: Yeah. So anyway, uh, we're gonna put, uh, I, I'm, gonna link, um, to YouTube, uh, to the video of, uh, the first of these two sightings, and it's pretty interesting.

And if we can

Michelle: find a video feed, we keep [00:27:00] searching, and if we can find a, a audio at least of that sound.

Paul: Sound, yes. Yeah. If anybody does have, uh, a link to that sound, I, I did some scouring. I, I used AI to try and drill down into the news media, and I, we couldn't find anything. Um, be interesting to hear what that sound was like.

Michelle: My, my idea of AI is arsen- uh, asinine, um, intelligence.

Paul: Yeah. It, it's, it hasn't been the most useful or brilliant thing for us, has it?

Michelle: Yeah, as a matter of fact, when we've studied some of the AI stuff, it's come up wrong.

Paul: Frequently comes up wrong.

Michelle: Yeah,

Paul: frequently comes up wrong. Big holes wrong. Uh, and, um, uh, with regard to our own experiences, um, we, seeing things, uh, lights like this, um, it was nearby in, uh, Hollis, New Hampshire, that, uh, I witnessed, um, hundreds and hundreds of, of lights plane...

Well, it looked like planes, but they weren't planes. They were blinking, flashing, and then there [00:28:00] was a group... I'll see if I... This'll work on the camera. A group, a plane that was, had four lights, and it flew across at an angle like this over top, and, uh, absolutely no sound. There was no sound of airplanes or propellers, and there was hundreds of lights, and then- Yeah

after about- If planes

Michelle: were that close-

Paul: Yeah ... that

Michelle: would've been an FAA violation.

Paul: Yeah. After th- And they were big lights ... about 30 minutes, I think it was, within 30 seconds all of these lights just- Went out and the sky was clear. It was quite remarkable.

Michelle: Yeah, and you know, during, um, uh, after 9/11 when they shut down all the air flights- Mm-hmm

there was no planes at all in the sky, Paul and I watch stuff fly by.

Paul: Yeah, it was interest- That was so cool. It is, it is, it's fascinating. Yeah. You know, for those, I'm sure there's many of you out there who've seen stuff like this. You wouldn't be watching this unless you were interested or had an experience of your own.

Or you love Dragon. When you see a, when you see a light go like this, stop, and then come back [00:29:00] the other way, you know, uh, uh, uh, and then, and there's no sound. I mean, c- clearly that's something that's gonna get your mind going. Uh, I mean, when I was first dealing with coming out decades ago about, about this, sometimes I'd see things that I'd, you know, defer on the side of, um, being cynical and go, "Well, maybe it was a helicopter," but then there was no sound.

And then, you know, of course, you know, they keep throwing this stuff at you and you realize- It- ... oh yeah, okay.

Michelle: And sometime the no sound is such an incredible lack of sound- Yes ... that you, you, that you feel like your ears are going woo, woo, woo.

Paul: Yeah. On our honeymoon when, when a craft flew over top of us, um, this, this object- The big triangle

we looked, we, it, it flew over. It had, they had put on hundreds of lights, and- All of a sudden, yeah ... and the, and in between the lights was just absolute blackness. The hull was just black. And there was no sound. In fact, what it was more like was [00:30:00] that it, it, there was a lack of sound, like it had sucked sound in for that moment as it passed over, and then flew over the valley in front of us, and then it flipped its wings as it...

Wings? Not wings, but you know.

Michelle: It's

Paul: triangular in shape. Went like this, little like and then flew off into the valley.

Michelle: Yeah. Hey, guys, we have a Halloween special coming.

Paul: We have a Halloween special. Boom.

Michelle: Yep, at the end, very end of October during that week.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: And, oh, he wants to get off of me 'cause I think he wants to poop, and he does not- Don't say-

poop on me. I could tell by the way he was doing this.

Paul: Don't say that. We're just finishing up, for heaven's sakes. Anyway, thank you for joining us.

Michelle: Well, he's

Paul: a very good boy. We're glad, we're glad you've dropped by. See, I have

Michelle: no filters.

Paul: We, we, we aim to provide you with education about reptiles and- ... their biological functions on top of all of this stuff that we hope is entertaining about the paranormal, true crime mystery, and UFOs and aliens- Oh

the whole nine yards.

Michelle: And if [00:31:00] you wanna know about some cults, I have some really interesting information about some interesting probably not-known cults that I, I, I've been looking at. I've been coming across as I've been doing some stories- Yeah ... and I think you might find those interesting. Yeah.

Paul: So we'll be talking about this down the line as well.

So everybody-

Michelle: Don't forget, Halloween special. It will be before Halloween and that week.

Paul: Yep.

Michelle: And oh, another thing I wanted to tell them all.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: Um, subscribe, tell your friends about it. Um, please subscribe. And, um, there was one more thing, because I have to bother you, that... Not you guys, him. I have to bother him by adding to the podcast at the very end, um, about, uh, seeing UFOs.

Okay? We once were at the beach, and we saw all these UFOs coming in, and they were coming in, like, one after another after another.

Paul: Mm-hmm.

Michelle: And, um, other people came, and they said, "What are you looking [00:32:00] at?" And some people saw them, and they were like, "Wow." And other people would come over, and they'd look, and they'd say, "What are you looking at?"

And we would tell them, and they'd say, "I don't see anything." And we were like- We asked the aliens later, how come some people saw them and they're like, "Wow," and other people didn't even see them? And the aliens said, "That's because in their mind, when they look, it's like, oh, that's somebody else's problem."

Paul: I think you mentioned that in a previous- Uh, did I mention that before? I think you did mention that, yeah.

Michelle: Yeah. Well, anyway.

Paul: Well, let us sign off.

Michelle: We'll sign off. Besides, I have to clean up after him.

Paul: Be- she's talking about Dragon, not me. For those of you who are listening on the podcast, um, you can find us on YouTube.

There is a link from our YouTube podcast channel to our videocast channel, and-

Michelle: That's right ...

Paul: you can come in and actually see what we look like. And not that it's anything spectacular- Oh, and- ... I assure you. J- stop ...

Michelle: and look for the link that is, has the white background.

Paul: The white back- yes, thank you. [00:33:00] Very good.

I stand corrected.

Michelle: Mm-hmm.

Paul: Be good to each other. Love one another. Take care of each other.

Michelle: Yep.

Paul: Be safe and have a wonderful week. Until next time, when we see you in the spooky coop.

Michelle: This is a chicken

Paul: Okay, fine
