**Speaker 1 :** This week on Spooky Coop, episode 51, Paul and Michelle share a host of listener submitted stories of the strange and paranormal.

**Speaker 1 :** Hi everyone, I'm Paul.

**Speaker 2 :** And I'm Michelle.

**Speaker 1 :** And you're in the spooky coup.

**Speaker 1 :** Welcome to the spooky coop. Hope you're not chicken. One. Hello, Michelle.

**Speaker 2 :** Hey, Paul.

**Speaker 1 :** How are you doing?

**Speaker 2 :** Not so shabby.

**Speaker 1 :** Not so shabby. You're supposed to say in a robotic voice. Still breathing. Thank you. So, chocolate. I love chocolate.

**Speaker 1 :** So, everybody, thank you for joining us. We're really glad that you have come by. We had a lot of fun talking about stories the in our last episode and we had a couple of listener submitted stories.

**Speaker 2 :** We had more than a couple. We had a bunch and whatever. We had stories. Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** Anyway, we gathered up some that people have sent and we've been going through it ready to put on

**Speaker 1 :** and we're going to we're we're going to have some fun tonight talking about some stories that people have sent into us and uh so let's have some fun. This first story is from Elias. G, who's a former park ranger, and he he's titled his little story the Appalachian Mimic.

**[01:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** No, I think I titled it. He didn't title it.

**Speaker 1 :** You didn't titled it.

**Speaker 2 :** Did you title that?

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. He just said, "Wow, you wouldn't believe what happened to me."

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. Okay. So, anyway, he says, and I quote, "I spent 15 years in the backwoods of the Appalachian Trail. I know the difference between a bear, a bobcat, and a coyote. I know what the woods sound like when they're empty, and I know what they sound sound like when they're hunting. Over 8 years ago, I was patrolling a remote section of a ridge. It was a It was late October, just before dusk. I heard a voice. It was a woman crying out, "Help me, please. I've fallen

**Speaker 1 :** and I can't get up."

**Speaker 2 :** Sorry.

**Speaker 1 :** Press the button. Press the button.

**Speaker 1 :** It sounded exactly like my sister. And he says, "I mean, exactly. No doubt about it. Especially the way she winded out, please."

**Speaker 2 :** Oh, I love the fact that he said wind.

**[03:00]**

**Speaker 1 :** Wind out. Oh yes, whined. Excuse me, it was her. I started running toward the sound calling her name. I was upset she went hiking in the area without letting me know first. I stopped dead when I realized the voice was coming from the top of a 30-foot pine tree. I looked, oh goodness. I looked up and yelled, "What the f, Lacy? What the f are you doing up there?" Then something moved and I saw something. It wasn't her. It wasn't even human. It wasn't a bird or a bear. It was clinging to the trunk, but its limbs were wrong. There were they were too long, jointed in ways that animal anatomy doesn't allow. Its skin was grayish brown, blending perfectly with the bark. It didn't have what I'd call a face, just a flat, pale surface where the features should be, and a mouth that opened like a vertical slit. If it didn't move, I would have put it off as one of those things where your brain sees faces and figures in inanimate objects. But I knew it was real because it just repeated my name in my own voice.

**Speaker 2 :** In his own voice again. Okay.

**Speaker 1 :** It sounded like a recording being played back at half speed. Elias. Elias. I didn't want to say it would climb down.

**[04:30]**

**Speaker 1 :** I didn't want to see it climb down. I wouldn't want to see. I made it four paragraphs before being unable to speak English today. Okay. I didn't wait to see if it would climb. I'm down. I I don't go on patrol in that area alone anymore if I can help it. I still work as a ranger and have never seen anything else like this. And I've kept it to myself and never heard any reports of anything similar. Yeah, I don't I don't know. I wouldn't. Um I guess you know I might. I have never seen anything like hid in the woods like that except um uh I saw something making noise in the woods once and I could not see it and then it moved and I realized it was uh um what do you call them? Those things that those birds that are on trees and you can't see them.

**Speaker 2 :** Praying mantis with wings. Owls.

**Speaker 1 :** Remember the time remember the time we were on vacation we saw prayers praying mantis that was like seven in long?

**Speaker 2 :** Yes.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** Okay. I just dropped the first page of the next story.

**Speaker 2 :** Well, here you need this.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. We need that. Now, the next story was submitted down.

**Speaker 2 :** We have such adult memories, we're going to get it all wrong if you lose.

**[06:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. I got to I got to tell you some of the stuff um I had Paul and I corrected a little bit so that we could read it. So, sorry if it uh you know, I know the girl who wrote this one sent it in. It was really really colorful. Um so, I had to uncolor it a little because our uh we're PG um

**Speaker 1 :** parental guidance.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. We actually kind of

**Speaker 1 :** we're limited in the expletives we can use.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Anyway,

**Speaker 1 :** we cannot say the seven words that you can never say out loud on TV outlined by George Carlin.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. And um you know, so

**Speaker 1 :** if we want to adhere to our standards,

**Speaker 2 :** so when you hear our stuff, you can say h it's cuz we had to clean it up a bit. Okay. Sorry about that, guys. Um this one was from Caitlyn um in Louisiana. Okay. She said, "I live on the edge of a large Louisiana swamp in the middle of the state. Um, we used to gators, snakes, no in strange noises. What?

**Speaker 1 :** You need to move this way on the mic. I'll have to edit that. Okay.

**Speaker 2 :** Oh,

**Speaker 1 :** move your chair. The whole chair or the microphone? One or the other. Because you're speaking beside the microphone and it's causing an echo.

**Speaker 2 :** Sorry.

**Speaker 2 :** Sorry.

**Speaker 2 :** Sorry.

**Speaker 1 :** You could even leave that in.

**[07:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. I don't know. Start over again.

**Speaker 1 :** From the whole whole beginning.

**Speaker 2 :** Oh.

**Speaker 2 :** Oh, okay. Anyway, she says, "I live at the edge of a large Louisiana swamp in the middle of the state. Uh we we're used to gators here, snakes and weird noises from the, you know, animals and stuff. Uh but what happened to me and my boyfriend Tommy uh and what we saw last summer wasn't an animal. And I'm sure of that. We were out on our boat checking our traps. You didn't say what kind of traps. Uh I'd like to know. Um we were out there checking our traps. It was around midnight. Um I I think that there's traps that they have. I don't know what kind of traps. Anyway, I get off on it.

**Speaker 1 :** What I mean?

**Speaker 1 :** Oh, here dear. Here's some traps that I've made. Come and look at this.

**Speaker 1 :** Here. Come on.

**[09:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** It must be our honeymoon. Um I get my brain goes in strange places. Anyway, um anyway, they were checking their traps around midnight and the moon was bright enough to see though um through the reads. Bright enough to see through the reads and She saw what she thought was a man standing in the water perfectly still. She pointed to her boyfriend Tommy to look at it. He looked at least 7 ft tall, this guy in the water, this man type thing. Um, and he didn't seem to be afraid of gators or anything that would be there. He was just standing there. Um, he was probably a foot away from the shoreline and he was covered with what she thought looked like thick matted swamp grass. and had dark hair. Uh, and he was standing there just standing there in right there. And Tommy said it was just some old tree covered with swamp.

**Speaker 1 :** I don't know. It sounds like I could have been Tom Cruz on stilts. No. Okay. Sorry. Go ahead.

**[10:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** You should have just seen the look I gave him. Anyway, to prove that it was just some old tree covered in gunk, he killed the motor and let the boat drift towards him. Um, and she said she thought it was uh she thought it was a poacher and as they got about 20 ft away uh he the thing actually turned to look at them and when it turned its eyes didn't reflect the flashlights like a deer or even a gator would. She said that it the eyes were like a dull matte yellow. They didn't shine. It was just like they were uh you know putting a light on a new newspaper or something and it didn't run away. It just turned its eyes, looked at them, and then started to walk into the water and then sank down. Like it didn't like dive or anything. It just slowly sank down. She said kind of like a gator would, but it definitely wasn't no gator. Um, she said to Tommy, "Let's get out of here." That's, you know, that's where she put a lot of expletive in. But he grabbed his cell phone and waited for this thing to come back up for air. He said he would be it would be the greatest video he ever took, otherwise no one would believe them anyway. So, they waited there. She didn't want to wait there, but it was his boat. Um, and Tommy had his phone ready, and she says she really wanted to leave. She was pushing him to leave. He kept telling her, "Shut up. And so she sat quietly with him and they just waited for this thing to come back and it never came back. And after a while, it seemed like hours to her, but she said it's probably like 40 minutes, Tommy just gave up. And they were returned home forgetting their traps. They figured they'd pick him up the next night or something. And when they got home, they went to Tommy's place and Tommy told his dad uh what they saw. Ah. And his dad told him it was the honey island swamp monster. He was sure of it. He said,

**[12:00]**

**Speaker 1 :** "Not monster, monster.

**Speaker 2 :** Monster, the honey island swamp mo monster." That uh it he was sure that's what it was. He said lots of people had seen it. Um and she said that she thought it was just a story, but now she knows it's real. And that was her story.

**Speaker 1 :** That was that's seeing anything like that in the dark. Very distressing. ing.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. She said that once they put the flashlight on it though, it was really clear and

**Speaker 1 :** something. Yeah.

**Speaker 2 :** And when it turned,

**Speaker 2 :** its eyes were really freaky because, you know, eyes reflect.

**Speaker 1 :** Mhm.

**Speaker 2 :** And this thing, its eyes didn't reflect anything,

**Speaker 1 :** but it, you know, that obviously turned. Yeah.

**Speaker 2 :** I wonder if it's related to like a Bigfoot or a It's like the swamp version of Sasquatch or something.

**[13:30]**

**Speaker 1 :** Probably not a Navy Seal training operation of any kind.

**Speaker 2 :** No, you mean Full camouflage Bigfoot.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. Let us move on.

**Speaker 1 :** Story number three. This is from an anonymous man who is a construction worker and

**Speaker 2 :** Oh, big guy doesn't want anyone to know.

**Speaker 1 :** That's right. Tough man. Anyway, he works he worked or works in on high-rise developments and his crew buddies and he are used to heights and working you know we they were he said I will start quoting him from this point. We were working on a new skyscraper. I was on the 20th floor checking the rebar. I heard a scraping sound like a cat scratching on the steel. I thought it might be a bird of prey on a beam where the I-beams met the wall. Looking for a possible nesting spot. I followed the noise, hoping to scare away the bird, but what I saw was no bird, I stopped in my tracks because what I saw was something crouched on a steel beam some 3 yards away ahead of me. It looked like an emaciated person, completely bald, naked, and with proportions that were confusing.

**Speaker 2 :** What were you doing there?

**[15:00]**

**Speaker 1 :** I I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I never thought they'd find out, much less anyone would write in about me.

**Speaker 1 :** Its arms looked like they reached all the way past its knees. It was hard to say, as it was crouched in, but its back was arched and looked around and full like a spider's. What was worse, its skin was almost see-through. I could see dark veins pulsing under it.

**Speaker 1 :** Oh my god, it does sound like me, doesn't it? My varicose veins.

**Speaker 1 :** I couldn't move. I was frozen in place. Then it looked at me. That's when I knew I was its prey. I didn't run. Looking back, I'm not sure I could have anyway. It scared the crap out of me. I was sure it was going to lunge at me and eat me like I was the spider and I like it was the spider and I was the fly. My brain was totally blown.

**Speaker 1 :** Call me a coward. I

**Speaker 2 :** You're a coward.

**Speaker 1 :** I screamed. like a girl. But no one came. My scream startled it. It seemed to step back. So I screamed some more. Why?

**Speaker 1 :** Then that's a yell.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. Ah. I can't scream properly. I really

**Speaker 2 :** There is a probably

**[16:30]**

**Speaker 1 :** though I did scream when I saw the mouse on the stairs for the first time in my life after 67 years. And I saw a mouse on the stairs and I screamed like a girl. I couldn't believe it. I I just I have no shame about it at all. It was I was so so surprised.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. But you needed it for your computer.

**Speaker 1 :** What?

**Speaker 2 :** The mouse.

**Speaker 1 :** Oh, never mind. So, anyway, he screamed some more. Then it stood up. This human bug thing. It opened its long arms, stepped back, and flew off. I was in some kind of shock. I had never seen anything like that before. I ran to my foreman and told him what I saw. He actually told me to go home and sober up, but I wasn't drinking. I told my wife. She said, "That's what I get for skipping Sunday services. I didn't drink or miss church anymore. I have to ask Have you or any of your listeners seen one of these things?

**Speaker 2 :** I don't believe he stopped drinking.

**Speaker 1 :** Maybe he did.

**Speaker 2 :** Maybe he skipped. Well, I shouldn't I shouldn't I should not diss him. I should not judge. I have no right to judge.

**Speaker 1 :** Maybe he did.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. You know what these

**Speaker 1 :** some things are enough to really scare. You know,

**Speaker 2 :** the stories all have

**[18:00]**

**Speaker 1 :** scare you straight.

**Speaker 2 :** The sto Well, you don't even know if he drank a lot.

**Speaker 1 :** No. Don't know.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. But the stories have something in common. These people all sort something strange.

**Speaker 1 :** Strange and explainable. Yeah.

**Speaker 2 :** Yep. Yep. You know, we have another story another person sent in that's kind of UFO based. You want to hear that one?

**Speaker 1 :** Yes.

**Speaker 2 :** I think we actually have a couple that were like that.

**Speaker 2 :** Um, one of them was more average and one of them was a little different. Um, in the first one we have um uh a a mom sent in this. Um, she didn't want to be named cuz she works with the PTA and her kids are still in school.

**Speaker 1 :** school and she doesn't even she told us where she is, but she doesn't want anyone else to know.

**Speaker 2 :** So, she's being anonymous. That's fine. So,

**[19:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** it was she said it was a Tuesday, late August last year, and her husband and her two kids, it's funny, it was like a year ago um to when we were recording this. Um they were driving back from her parents' place. I'm not going to tell you where. Um the kids were asleep in the back and her husband was driving um and they were looking at an apple orchard. She she was just looking out at an apple orchard. Sun was going down. It was starting to get dark. Um suddenly her car just stopped. The car that she was in just stopped. It didn't stall. It was like it hit a wall of invisible glass, but the engine uh the engine didn't cut out. It was still idling. It the headlights were still on. It just stopped like it hit a tree. But nobody was thrown forward. There was no like like people would hit the windshield or something if they if the car stopped fast. But it's did stop. There was no impact, no jerking. You just the car just suddenly stopped.

**Speaker 1 :** Got it.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. That and it that in itself,

**Speaker 1 :** you know, scared the crap out of her.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah.

**Speaker 2 :** Um she looked at her husband. He was frozen like like the car stopped in time and she you know, shook her head. What is going on? Um,

**Speaker 1 :** very disorienting.

**[21:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** His hands were locked on the steering wheel. His eyes were wide open. He wasn't blinking, you know, and she tried to scream his name. Um, but nothing came out. She said it was like her lungs uh had no more air in them, like you know, like there was nothing to make her scream come out.

**Speaker 1 :** Mhm.

**[22:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** Um, but she knew she was still breathing. And then the roof of the car seemed to dissolve. She said, She wasn't sure if it dissolved or she could just see through it, like did it become transparent? Did it dissolve? Whatever. Uh she tried to look back at her kids. She couldn't move either. She looked up though. She could move her head to look up and it seemed like there was no sky, just a swirling metallic gray void. Um she felt a tugging sensation and it was almost like she felt like there was a hook in her belly button. She said it was really, it didn't hurt, but it was really weird. And then next thing you know, she was standing on a flat kind of cold surface. Her husband was standing there on one side and her two children were standing on the other side. She said her first thought was she was glad they were together, but then she realized they weren't moving. They looked like they were dolls or something, and she wasn't moving either. Um, Um, and then they were just being looked at, like examined. She doesn't know what to call these creatures she saw, but they were pretty much the standard grays people report. Um, apparently she wasn't into stuff like that, so she didn't really know what to call them. Um, I suppose she actually kind of kided in the letter and said if they look like they were from Bridgetton, she could name every one of them. But, uh, and I thought thought that was kind of um anyway, she described them as being pale to gray skinned with eyes that look like polish obsidian um uh ovals with sort of pointed edges. She said they didn't talk and or she also said they had long necks. Um she said they she didn't hear any words, but she could hear images and ideas in her head. Um she said somehow she was aware of her deepest fear. from childhood, her deepest regrets growing up, but also her joys and her greatest moments, the birth of her children. It was almost like they were making her feel like, you know, that old legend of before you die, everything goes through your mind. She thought about that. She thought she was going to die cuz she thought that that's what it was, your whole life flashing before your eyes. Um, she remembered hearing her daughter crying, but the sound seed muted in far far away. Uh, one of the beings touched her forehead and she said she felt a cold almost sharp pain, but then there was a mist feeling and all of a sudden she was they were back on the road in the car. They were rolling at 50 m an hour all and her husband sort of went like that. She said her he shook his head and gasped and turned the wheel fast cuz he was surprised and swerved into the shoulder the brake. down lane and then right back onto the road, you know, kind of writing himself. And she all of a sudden had this idea, I have to look at the clock and realized it 3 hours had passed. Three full hours of her life was gone. She was, this was something she just couldn't get over. She must have wrote it 10 times. Three hours. Um, the kids were awake and they seemed confused. Her youngest started crying about a bad dream she had of being locked in a room that had no corners.

**[24:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** And it's Yeah. And it seemed like she was the only one who remembered it. She said something about the time gap. No, nobody even knew what she was talking about.

**[25:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** Um, and because of the time, she knew it couldn't have been a dream. You know, you don't fall asleep in a car. You the whole family doesn't fall asleep in a car going 50 miles an hour for 3 hours and live, you know.

**Speaker 2 :** Um, And uh now she says that uh they didn't notice any lapse of space. You know how sometimes people have a missing time and they end up somewhere else? They they didn't notice any of that.

**Speaker 2 :** But she said now um she none of her family feels comfortable driving long distances or driving away out of the city like on a country road at night

**Speaker 1 :** or in a long highway between towns.

**Speaker 2 :** And if they have to go out at night, like if she has to go shopping and it's dark, um they stay inside city limits where there are a lot of cars.

**Speaker 2 :** Um and she hates to admit it, but every time she goes to bed at night, she thinks maybe they're coming back.

**Speaker 1 :** Mhm.

**[27:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** She actually asked me if there are people who have these experience, you know, she started looking into it and she wanted to know if there are people who start having these experiences as adults. Um, or is it true she might have had them her whole life? So,

**Speaker 1 :** it's kind of creepy. The poor thing.

**Speaker 1 :** It's the helplessness. The idea that you can be sitting in your own car with your own family and be plucked out of your life like like you're nothing.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. You know, or or not understanding what's happened either. You know, that idea of you feel like a like a um I don't know, like a wild tiger or elephant that's been, you know, picked up in the jungle tagged and then let back into the jungle, right?

**Speaker 1 :** right?

**Speaker 2 :** You know,

**Speaker 1 :** so let's move on to our next story.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah, sure.

**Speaker 1 :** About some mountain hikers.

**Speaker 2 :** Ah, you get the mountain again.

**Speaker 1 :** The mountain people.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. This one I thought was really cool. And this is another UFO type of thing.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah.

**Speaker 2 :** But very different from anything I've ever heard.

**Speaker 1 :** Mhm. We were well into our hike, heading toward a lodge in the Rockies. It was just the two of us. And they called themselves, he wanted to be called Adam and Eve as Monica's.

**[28:30]**

**Speaker 1 :** Okay. We reached a clearing and the silence was absolute. No birds, no wind, no bugs.

**Speaker 2 :** That like to hike there. Well, no bugs.

**Speaker 1 :** No bugs. That's the place to go. That in itself was strange. I started hearing a ringing in my ears that got louder and louder until it felt like I was it was coming from all around me and filling the bone of my skull. That's an interesting way of putting it.

**Speaker 1 :** Eve asked me if if I heard a loud buzzing sound, and I told her yes. We agreed it might be coming from outside ourselves. Then she pointed to the sky. A craft shaped like a teardrop was hovering above us. It wasn't metallic. It looked like it was made of woven light.

**Speaker 2 :** Do when he said teardrop, do you think he meant teardrop with the round at the bottom or upside down.

**Speaker 1 :** I think he was talking about a Hershey's kiss.

**Speaker 2 :** Well, that's flat on the bottom.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. Um, well, you know, except being round at the bottom. I don't know. I don't know if the point was down or up, to be honest.

**Speaker 2 :** It could have been sideways point around.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah.

**Speaker 2 :** I wish I I would have loved to have known more

**Speaker 1 :** more details. Yeah.

**[30:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Go ahead.

**Speaker 1 :** We can you can email them back. Let them know.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** We were stunned and just stood there for

**Speaker 2 :** Oh, no. This one came from an anonymous account.

**Speaker 1 :** Oh. Yeah. Anyway, if you're if you're out there, let us know. Maybe draw up a little picture and send it to us.

**Speaker 1 :** Anyway, we he continues here. We were stunned and just stood there for a minute. We couldn't believe what we what we were seeing. It started moving slowly and Eve shouted, "Run." We tried to run, but our bodies felt like we were moving through molasses. I fell, and as I hit the ground, the world turned inside out. I don't know how else to describe it. It felt like I was being stretched into a long thin string. Oh god. I could see Eve beside me. The trees, the rocks, Eve. But I was seeing them from everywhere at once. That's a very strange description, isn't it?

**Speaker 2 :** I can There's something I can hear Squidward saying.

**Speaker 1 :** Don't Don't plagiarize Spongebob. We'll be in court for decades. We were in a space that seemed unreal. There were others there. People who looked at like us. But they were and dot dot dot hollow

**Speaker 2 :** hollow

**Speaker 1 :** hollow.

**Speaker 2 :** Fascinating.

**[31:30]**

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah, they were just shells.

**Speaker 1 :** We were terrified. We kept trying to hold on to each other, but our hands kept passing through one another like we were ghosts. Oh,

**Speaker 2 :** so they were having an out of the body experience.

**Speaker 1 :** Either that or they were their phased into a different they were phased halfway between one dimension and another. Yeah.

**Speaker 2 :** Okay. Uh phasing is a We won't get into it now, but

**Speaker 2 :** well, maybe we can do a a podcast about all these different states of being that

**Speaker 1 :** that aliens put you in.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. So, a voice echoed in what we perceived as our bodies and it said, "The cycle is incomplete. You are not ready for the harvest." That is a single creepy line.

**Speaker 2 :** That is probably the scariest thing I heard in a long time.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. Not

**Speaker 2 :** You're not ripe yet.

**Speaker 1 :** Not typical. That we hear from from the who who we were deal with workers.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. When I was when I was getting this one, I was ready. When I was reading it the first time, I was like, "Oh."

**[33:00]**

**Speaker 1 :** Then there was a flash of white light so intense it overwhelmed me. I woke up on the trail, face down in the dirt. How unceremonious. Eve was next to me, also face down.

**Speaker 1 :** We were yards away from where we had been standing. Our arms were covered in small cuts and small shards of tiny metallic ic looking shards under our skin. We both went to our doctors and they pretty much told us the same thing. It looked like debris from a fall or scratching our arms against something, but they couldn't explain to either of us how would how it would have gotten there with no fall. My doctor didn't even try to explain how I got some of this stuff under my skin without any corresponding entry points. Eve said I he she says I'm not the same person as I was before this hike. And frankly, she isn't either.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Well, they weren't ready to be harvested.

**Speaker 2 :** Have you

**Speaker 2 :** Did Did they notice there was a cookbook there that said how to serve?

**Speaker 1 :** How does I don't know. So, anyway, he finishes it off asking us, "Have you ever heard any reports of these tear-shaped teardropshaped UFO things or this harvest. And what do you think it is? It doesn't sound good to me, nor does it sound good to us.

**Speaker 1 :** And uh a teardropshaped UFO uh

**Speaker 2 :** I

**[34:30]**

**Speaker 1 :** without have seeing a drawing, it's hard to comparatively say

**Speaker 1 :** if you see if you put it on its side, I've seen things similar to that.

**Speaker 2 :** Mhm.

**Speaker 1 :** But only in old drawings from before the 19 the 1800s. Um I have the closest I've seen to something that would be pointier on the top and wider on the bottom is the the ones that look like birthday cakes or wedding cakes.

**Speaker 2 :** Mhm. Those are amazing looking ships. I have seen one of those. They are absolutely phenomenal.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** Probably 12, 15 stories in height.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** All lit up on the outside and they move

**Speaker 2 :** and they come in tears.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah, they come in tears and they're huge and they they when I saw it just moved like it was nothing. It this massive object flew over a hill in a second and then shot straight up into the sky.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Yeah. And um you know I've seen I haven't seen them myself but I've talked to a lot of people who have.

**Speaker 1 :** That and I I will qualify that was during an experience. I wasn't out in the wilderness by myself at the time.

**Speaker 2 :** No, you had people

**[36:00]**

**Speaker 1 :** but it was there was other people there and I could feel the wind on my arms and everything. It was very

**Speaker 2 :** not wind from the ship. No,

**Speaker 1 :** no, no wind from the ship.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Do you want

**Speaker 1 :** nothing? It was completely silent. It was awesome.

**Speaker 2 :** We have two more uh things that were um that were submitted this week. Should we uh go for

**Speaker 1 :** Oh, should we just go for broke here?

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah, let's do it. Which one? I'm going to read one. You're going to read the other. Which one?

**Speaker 1 :** You want to do You want to do the

**Speaker 2 :** I want to do the void one.

**Speaker 1 :** The void?

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** Ah, we're so good with voids, aren't we? Everything is a void. Okay. I'm going to do the What is the Put this here. The thing that walks backwards.

**Speaker 2 :** Reflection in the rain.

**Speaker 1 :** Reflection in the rain.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** Okay. So, is this a man or a woman? Do you know?

**Speaker 2 :** This is a man.

**Speaker 1 :** Okay. So, he starts off, I live in a high-rise in a large metallic metallic city in a large metropolis

**Speaker 2 :** birthday cake

**Speaker 1 :** metropolitan city in the in the US. My condo has Florida ceiling windows overlooking the city. I love the view. I lost some of that love recently.

**Speaker 2 :** You know what the cool part is?

**Speaker 1 :** What?

**[37:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** I don't think this person's in the US.

**Speaker 1 :** No.

**Speaker 2 :** Mm-

**Speaker 1 :** Okay.

**Speaker 2 :** Just by their email.

**Speaker 1 :** Got Oh, okay. Gotcha. It was a It was raining. I was standing by the living room window holding a cup of coffee watching the city lights blur in the downpour. I looked at my

**Speaker 2 :** be awesome.

**Speaker 1 :** I looked at my reflection in the window. It was dark outside, so the window glass acted like a mirror. I took took a sip of coffee and my reflection did the same as you would expect. I would think

**Speaker 1 :** everything was normal, calm and peaceful, but the rain was like a monsoon.

**Speaker 1 :** He has pillow windows. He can't hear the outside. They have good windows. That's when I I Uh-oh. Advertisement. I have to edit.

**Speaker 2 :** Well, you No, you can leave it in. Maybe they'll sponsor us.

**Speaker 1 :** Oh god. Where was That's when I saw someone standing behind me in the reflection. I've I've I've experienced something like this, not with a reflection, but a shadow on a wall. I a figure of a man in a gray coat. I spun around, my heart hammering, expecting to have to fight an intruder, but my coffee cup

**Speaker 2 :** with my coffee.

**Speaker 1 :** With my coffee cup as my only weapon.

**[39:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. He was standing there. All of a sudden, he saw someone standing behind him and you know,

**Speaker 1 :** a reflection of a person that thankfully gratefully I have not experienced. Just the shadow I saw.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Can you imagine spinning around thinking you're just gonna

**Speaker 1 :** somebody just broke into your fancy place and all you have is a freaking cup that says

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Jaba in your face.

**Speaker 1 :** You get one shot,

**Speaker 1 :** but the room was empty. The only thing I did was spill coffee everywhere. He did. He did try to jam at the guy. I cleaned up the spill and a good and had a good laugh at my imagination. Only then I looked back at the window. The figure was still there. I shook my head and blinked my eyes. I quickly looked behind me again and then back at the window. It was still there. It wasn't an intruder and it wasn't what I expected a ghost to look like. It looked like the reflection of a physical person. It had skin that looked like a person's, but it had a bluish green tint to it. Its lips were almost purple.

**Speaker 2 :** Ew.

**Speaker 1 :** Ew.

**Speaker 2 :** Sounds like the living dead

**Speaker 1 :** or or

**Speaker 2 :** the poor guy

**Speaker 1 :** a goth maybe.

**[40:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** I don't know. Can you imagine though living alone and seeing that?

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah, I can. And its eyes were so deep in the sockets they looked like black holes. It wasn't looking at me. It was looking at the window, staring at my reflection. I backed away and the figure moved with me. It didn't walk. It glided backwards. Its movements jerky like a film skipping frames. Now that It's a very eerie freak out type of type of imagery. It reached out a hand toward

**Speaker 2 :** I would have put the shades down.

**Speaker 1 :** Yes.

**Speaker 1 :** It reached out a hand toward my reflection's throat. I don't think he's gotten a hold of gathered himself up at this point.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah, it's easy when you're reading it.

**[42:00]**

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. He said, "I I felt a cold phantom pressure on my own neck." A phantom pressure like a Okay. I couldn't breathe. I grabbed I grabbed a lamp. and threw it at the window, hoping to break the glass and break the connection. The lamp passed right through the figure like it was made of smoke and landed on the floor. The bulb inside broke. The window was still intact and the evil thing I guess I this gets to evil pretty quick. You see something like this. The evil thing still strangling

**Speaker 2 :** is not a saint.

**Speaker 1 :** No. The Yeah. The evil thing still strangling my reflection causing me to choke. God, please deliver me from this evil shadow. I managed to croak out. Its grip, its grip loosened. It was then I remembered I had an old family Bible that was given to me after my grandmother passed. I never did anything with it. It was in the drawer of the coffee table by the sofa. I just managed to reached it, grab it, and I don't know why, but I shouted, "I call on the Lord to cleanse this house of you. Go back to hell where you belong. A religious person, no doubt.

**Speaker 2 :** No, it sounds like he wasn't. And then

**Speaker 1 :** he was trying. Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** Then I threw the heavy Bible at the window. The window cracked and the creature was gone. Well, you don't want to crack a window when you're 30 stories up or whatever it was. He was or I think he said 20

**Speaker 2 :** 20 stories. Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** Can you imagine the wind for in the rain?

**Speaker 2 :** Well, there's he broke it.

**[43:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** He didn't say he broke it. Just cracked it. I refilled my coffee cup. with something stronger and pondered the crack in my very expensive window, wondering what kind of weird s

**Speaker 1 :** just happened.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah, I'd be wondering it, too.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. And then he goes on a bit here, but I I see this is a good point to end it there.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. About Yeah. picking up the Bible, looking at it, and deciding maybe he should go back to church if he could find a religion that

**Speaker 2 :** The Bible is better than throwing handles.

**Speaker 2 :** Oh, yeah. I remember that. Okay. This one, um, this one, this one's kind of weird. Okay.

**Speaker 1 :** It's about the void.

**Speaker 2 :** Well, I don't know.

**Speaker 1 :** Or a void.

**Speaker 2 :** All right. This came from

**Speaker 1 :** like my mind.

**[45:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** This one came from a girl named Gail. She said this happened quite some time ago. I don't know if it's in here. What? How long? She said, "I'm a night shift dispatcher for long haul trucking. company. I've been doing this for over 14 years now. My job is to monitor GPS pings and every now and then radio out to keep the drivers awake. It's usually quiet. I know most of the drivers by name and it's lonely work for me and them. That was until earlier this summer. I was tracking a driver named Bill. Oh, excuse me. Earlier that that summer. She didn't say which summer. She just said that summer.

**Speaker 2 :** I was tracking a driver named Bill, who I've known for quite a while. He was crossing through Carson City on his way to New Jersey with a full load. She didn't say what it was a load of.

**[46:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** It was just before 3:00 a.m. when Bill's GPS went dead. I tried to ping him, but nothing but got nothing. I switched to the emergency radio channel and all I got was static. It sounded like a rhythm. Click hiss. Click hiss. sounded kind of like breathing. Um, when I cranked the volume, I started to worry. Maybe it was Bill having a medical emergency. It sound it I shouted his name, yelling, "Bill, Bill, I'm going to get you help. Do you know where you are? The GPS signal's down." I had no idea where he wi was. Um, he said, then he said, "The road isn't here anymore. The lights are coming up from the dirt. I had no idea what he was talking about. Where are you? What's the closest mile marker? He said nothing. I tell you, I'm pretty good at keeping cool, but this wouldn't have been the fir and this wouldn't have been the first road accident I had to deal with. But all of a sudden, my stomach dropped and Bill started to recite random numbers that didn't make sense. I tried to talk over him. Where's the closest mile marker you remember? I had to have something to give emergency services. He stopped reciting numbers and in a weird singong voice that scared the be Jesus out of me, he said, "The stars are falling up. It's blowing my freaking mind." I just kept pushing him for something I could tell emergency services. His GPS didn't leave a trail that I could send them. It was obvious he was seriously messed up. I had to get him help. I was trying to put things together that would make sense to the police so they could find him when his GPS started pinging again. I heard his voice say, "Where the hell am I?" He sounded really shook up. I took a good look at his GPS location. He was in Winnam

**Speaker 1 :** Winnaka.

**Speaker 2 :** Winnamaka. That Winnamaka. Um, what is that? Nevada.

**Speaker 1 :** I'm thinking this is Nevada because Carson City Yeah. Yeah.

**[48:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** That's 4 hours in the other direction. I said, "Your GPS must be broken because it looks like you're in Winnamaka." The The last words I ever heard from him were, "I'm in Winnamaka Sand Dunes parking lot. You can have someone pick up the truck. I'm out of here."

**Speaker 1 :** Guess he quit his job and went on to work elsewhere.

**Speaker 2 :** Yep. So the

**Speaker 1 :** Those last three were likely UFO,

**Speaker 2 :** right? Yeah.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. So, we had three um cryptids and three UFO stories for this week.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. Folks, we love we love reading your stories, okay? And when we get around, please we're not making fun of you. We're we're having fun with everyone.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah, we love

**Speaker 1 :** We really enjoy your stories. Please, you know, send them in. Be anonymous, you know, and you don't have to worry about anything.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Coming coming soon, I have a really cool story. true story that happened between 1980 and 1986 for six years about a place in England where houses mysteriously had rocks thrown at them for no reason.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. And they could never find the rockthrower.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. That the police actually came to the conclusion that somewhere a long way away, some vandals had a massive super catapult bolt

**Speaker 1 :** that was accurate.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah, that was accurate to all

**Speaker 1 :** within 30 ft.

**[49:30]**

**Speaker 2 :** No, to within Yeah. to within maybe 20 ft cuz Yeah. Um and

**Speaker 1 :** because the rocks came down from the sky, but we're getting too far into the story.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Well, anyway, you can look forward to that and to a couple of really cool stories about demon possession I've been playing with.

**Speaker 1 :** I hate those guys. They suck.

**Speaker 2 :** No, that's the vampires who suck.

**Speaker 1 :** And demons and dark

**Speaker 2 :** We we should talk about different types of dark beings at some point because there are a whole there is a a relatively

**Speaker 1 :** maybe maybe we should do it maybe we should do a show maybe they'd be interested on doing a show of some of this uh some of the um house cleanings and getting rid not cleaning like with a mop but some of the uh getting rid of demons out of houses and people we've done.

**Speaker 2 :** Mhm.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. Some of the some of our cleansing work.

**Speaker 2 :** Mhm.

**Speaker 1 :** Would be fun.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Yeah.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. And with every exorcism, we we we give you a free bottle spray of Egon for the ego and and it solves a lot of other problems, too.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. But if you if you don't pay your exorcists, you get repossessed.

**Speaker 1 :** Possessed. Yes.

**[51:00]**

**Speaker 2 :** Uh so, thank you everybody again for joining us this week. We we uh we

**Speaker 1 :** we had a lot of fun.

**Speaker 2 :** We we have a great time doing these things and we Please send us in more stories and uh we'll we will continue to show up with different wild stories of the paranormal and some not so wild and some that make you go hm

**Speaker 1 :** or maybe

**Speaker 2 :** I think sharing your stories with people who don't judge you

**Speaker 1 :** Yes.

**Speaker 2 :** is important.

**Speaker 1 :** Yes.

**Speaker 2 :** Yeah. Cuz I mean we're reading these stories and we're not saying, "Wow, that sounds like a lie." Because we have the most open of minds.

**Speaker 1 :** Yeah. Yeah. Who are we to judge? I mean look at the things that we tell people and

**Speaker 2 :** the things that we have had happen to us.

**Speaker 1 :** Mhm. Yeah. Exactly.

**Speaker 2 :** Mhm. So friends, listeners, audience from across the world, thank you for joining us, be good, be safe, be good to each other, take care of one another. Until next time when we see you in the spooky coop,
