Though much has been written about the flap, including radar evidence, photographs and even video, this episode contains a first hand witness description of what he saw from the gates of the White House one evening in July of that year. Though he says there were other people who witnessed the event, his story is unique in it's detail and what happened to him afterward when he was approached by two mysterious men, demonstrating once again how suppression of information is a consistent staple of the UFO phenomenon.
